The Benjy Bronk Footloose Speech

Kevin Bacon was on The Howard Stern Show this morning and aside from conducting a great interview, Howard played an old prank by Benjy Bronk so Kevin could hear it. In the prank, Benjy visits a town hall meeting to recreate Kevin Bacon’s speech in Footloose. You have to hand it to Benjy on this one. Watch his speech above and then check out the original speech by Kevin Bacon in Footloose below.

Stern is Back from Vacation and More Frequent Updates Coming

It seems like I’ve been taking as many days off (if not more) from updating this site as Stern does from his show. I’ll try to improve that, I promise. But, for now, Howard came back from a long vacation today, so I thought I’d do a quick update as well.

Howard was back today and he spoke about nearly everything that happened during the break including Sal Governale’s blow up in Vegas during the Ronnie Mund Block Party.

He also spoke to Chuck Zito about his role on Sons of Anarchy and much more. Chuck is always a great interview and he even has his own show on Howard 101.

Ronnie “The Limo Driver” Mund’s Pace Car

From all the news reports by Jon Leiberman, I’ve concluded that the car above is the Indianapolis 500 Pace Car purchased by Ronnie “The Limo Driver” Mund. However, he doesn’t want any attention over it. What’s your problem!?

Leiberman reported that the car was a 1995 Corvette Pace Car. The Corvette pictured above is the only Indy Pace Car from 1995.

Gary Dell’Abate and Jon Hein Get a TV Show on VH1

It was announced on the Howard Stern Show this morning that Gary Dell’Abate, better known as Bababooey, and Jon Hein will be hosting a new television show on VH1. There aren’t many details about the show yet, but Gary recently attended “Dawn of the Con” by VH1 at PETCO Park in San Diego, California earlier this month.

On July 12, the same day as the Con, @BeyondComics Tweeted, “I just wrapped a shoot for the new VH1 TV show I’m appearing on in the fall, starring Gary Dell’abate & Jon Hein from the Howard Stern Show!”

Gary also spoke about going to the San Diego Comic Con (SDCC) earlier this year but never spoke about the trip being connected to a show. This indicates that the show on VH1 Classic will have a Comic Con theme to it. Jon Hein and Gary already work side by side on The Wrap Up Show, a show that follows the Stern Show and recalls the morning’s events. Updates on this will be posted as we find out more.

Brony Con – My Little Pony Convention

Bronies, Ponies and Cloopers – Oh My!

In order for this post to make any sense, you need to learn a few (disturbing) terms that you probably never heard before. “Rule #34” is a rule that states, if it exists, there is a porn movie of it. “Cloopers” are people who masturbate to My Little Pony pornography, or see My Little Pony characters in a sexual way. I said it was disturbing.

Earlier this week, Howard Stern played audio interviews about Brody Con, a comic book convention style gathering of “My Little Pony is Friendship Universe” fans (or “Bronies”). The clips included several “cloopers” who admitted to having masturbated to My Little Pony characters.

The sexiest My Little Pony characters according to Cloopers are:

Rainbow Dash

(Notice the lightning-rainbow tramp stamp)

Twilight Sparkle

(“Sparkle” tramp stamp)

After hearing the audio clips, Robin Quivers said, “This is the saddest thing I’ve ever heard.” Many of the Cloopers said that they would rather come out of the closet to their parent’s than admit to being a Clooper. We should point out that not all My Little Pony fans are Cloopers. The people from Brony Con wrote a strong letter to the Stern Show after they aired the interviews stating that Cloopers are a very small segment of My Little Pony fans and that most fans are not Cloopers. For more information about Brony Con and future events, check out their official website.

Howard Stern Signs a Contract to be New Judge on America’s Got Talent with NBC

At 8:15 a.m., Eastern Standard Time, Howard Stern signed a contract, live and on his show which will make him the new judge on NBC’s “America’s Got Talent.”

Don Buckwald, Howard Stern’s long-time agent, walked into the studio early this morning with a bottle of champagne to present Howard Stern with the contract from NBC.

“The show is not about me. The show is very good. I don’t want to get in the way of the show.” Stern said on the air. He went on to talk about the conditions he needed in order for him to become a judge.

“It can’t interfere from my job here (on the radio).”

As a result, “America’s Got Talent” will move the live shows to New York City in order to work around Howard Stern’s schedule. Keep checking us out right here for more news on Howard Stern and “America’s Got Talent.”

David Spade Remembers Infamous David Skippy Malloy Attack on Howard Stern

David “Skippy” Malloy was David Spade’s personal assistant and if you ask Spade, he would also say Skippy was a close friend. That is, until the night of November 29 in 2000. That is the night that David “Skippy” Malloy allegedly attacked David Spade, beating him and zapping him with a stun gun, while Spade slept in his bed.

Spade has gone into details of the story in the past saying that the police report stated Skippy’s plan was to knock Spade out by stunning and punching him so he would be able to reach for Spade’s shotgun underneath his bed. Spade has mentioned that he feels David “Skippy” Malloy was feeling depressed at the time and that his plan was to commit a murder/suicide.

David Spade called in to the Howard Stern Show this morning to promote, “Rules of Engagement” and he transitioned into the story in an odd way; joking that he was home alone but had a vision of Skippy. Spade eventually began to revisit the night of the attack and explained what happen in detail.

“I kind of bar the door. I’m still a pussy about it.” Spade said about how he lives his life nowadays. He recalled seeing Skippy standing just outside his bedroom door as he awoke, just before the attack occurred. After taking several punches to the head and being shocked with a taser, Spade managed to escape from his bedroom.

“I was lucky to get out of there… I think he did like an 8 ball that night. He was tazing me so that I would be incapacitated and he could reach for the gun.” Eventually, Spade made it out to his front lawn where the two continued to scuffle until Spade got away again. He describes running back into the house and slamming the door behind him just enough so that it clicked shut, which bought him enough time to run up to his bedroom and finally retrieve the shotgun from underneath his bed.

He immediately thought to go into his bathroom which was one of the only rooms with a lock. He recounted his thoughts saying, “Ah man I gotta shoot this guy? He was my friend 20 minutes ago.” Spade recalls yelling out, “I’m gonna shoot you” and walking out of the bathroom to call the cops.

Once the cops arrived, Spade didn’t want to “rat” on his friend but after a while the police realized the intruder must have been someone he knew. Although he eventually revealed Skippy’s identity, Spade never pressed charges.

“He still works in Hollywood. I don’t want to keep piling on this guy but whatever.” Spade said towards the end of his interview.
